* Community Breast Health Project
The mission of the Community Breast Health Project is to improve the lives of people touched by breast cancer by acting as a clearinghouse for information and support, providing volunteer opportunities for breast cancer survivors and friends dedicated to helping others with the disease, and serving as an educational resource and a community center for all who are concerned about breast cancer and breast health. The Community Breast Health Project is grass-roots, patient-driven, and committed to providing services free of charge.

* Mothers Supporting Daughters with Breast Cancer
Two women who are powerful examples of women's movement towards online health resources are Lillie Shockney and her mother, Charmayne Dierker, known online as the "Dynamic Duo" in the breast health arena. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, Lillie recognized the power of the Internet and together with her mom, created a special support Internet website entitled, Mothers Supporting Daughters with Breast Cancer. The unique site helps other survivors by matching mother/daughter duos referred to as “bosom buddies,” who act as support teams. Using humor, the site provides resources and support that transcend geographical limitations, offering emotional support that only others experiencing similar health issues can give.

As the homepage of one of the nations most respected breast cancer centers, this site contains information about diagnosis, treatment, and support of breast cancer patients.

* Susan B. Komen Foundation
Best known for the 'Race for the Cure', this site is also a charitable contribution center, contains information about research programs and links.

* Y-Me National Breast Cancer Org
Founded in 1978 by two BC survivors, this site is for the recently diagnosed cancer patient. In English and Spanish, it offers a compassionate helping hand to guide survivors through recovery.
