Description

CARDIO-CONSULT is an EXCLUSIVE email forum for healthcare professionals, physicians and surgeons in the cardiovascular field.

CARDIO-CONSULT facilitates peer-to-peer communication between members and recognized experts and leaders in cardiovascular medicine. For example, CARDIO-CONSULT sponsors TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION, which are hosted by individual members of the list or guest editors. Topics may include actual case studies that could benefit from peer-to-peer input from members of CARDIO-CONSULT or challenging didactic case studies that stimulate discussion focused on particular therapies.

You may also use CARDIO-CONSULT to update your colleagues on current research or educational activities, to pose questions to colleagues, and to share clinical experiences.

This is a moderated list, which means that messages posted to the list will first be screened for clinical appropriateness by a list moderator.

Participants are encouraged to share clinical experiences with the group. These experiences should be submitted as brief case reports, including the relevant background data.

Clinical Cases, Summaries of Key Research
On a periodic basis, clinical cases provided by guest editors will be presented by the list moderator and discussed in detail with the list participants. Furthermore, list members will receive brief monthly summaries -- CardioConsult Reviews -- of key research published in the fields related to cardiovascular medicine.
